Privacy policy

How MicroCache handles personal data, contact inquiries and optional analytics on microcache.io and microcache.hr.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Who is responsible for your data

MicroCache operates microcache.io and microcache.hr and is responsible for the personal data processed through these websites. For privacy questions or requests, use the email address in the contact section below. This policy covers our websites and inquiries; data processing within a client project is covered by the relevant agreement.

Information we process

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message, together with any company name, phone number or project timeline you choose to provide. Required fields are needed to handle your inquiry. Please avoid including sensitive personal data or information about other people that is not necessary for your request.

Our website infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address and request information. The contact form also uses your IP address for temporary rate limiting to prevent abuse. Messages submitted through the form are delivered to us by email.

Why we use information

We use inquiry details to respond, discuss your requirements and take steps toward a contract at your request. For other business correspondence, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. We process technical information in our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website and preventing abuse. We may also retain information where necessary to meet legal obligations.

Optional analytics relies on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place lawfully before it.

Cookies and optional analytics

When analytics is enabled on the website, we use Google Analytics 4 only after you select “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand visits, pages viewed and interactions, including information about browsers and devices. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled in our configuration.

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser’s local storage until you change it or clear that storage. Google Analytics may set its own cookies after consent. You can reject analytics or change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer when analytics is available. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or contacting us.

Recipients and international processing

Information is available to people handling your inquiry and to providers involved in operating the website, hosting and email delivery. If you consent to analytics, Google also processes analytics information. Information may be disclosed to authorities where required by law.

Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, applicable data protection requirements must be met, for example through an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about the providers and safeguards applicable to your data.

How long information is kept

Inquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship. Where records are needed for legal obligations or legal claims, those requirements determine the retention period. Technical information is kept according to its operational and security purpose. Analytics retention also depends on the service settings and browser cookies; you can clear browser storage and withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable data protection law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise your rights, contact us using the email below. We may need information to verify your identity.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, including the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). Further information about data protection rights is available from the European Commission.
