Where does information get lost between teams?
The order is in the ERP, the schedule is in a spreadsheet and a changed instruction arrives verbally. Planning, production and quality teams then lack a shared view. Before proposing a solution, we follow one order from receipt to completion and identify where information is retyped, delayed or lost.
A work order as the shared starting point
We agree what planners, shift leaders and operators need: quantities, due dates, materials, approved instructions and status. The first scope can be a digital record for one process, without replacing the entire ERP. Equipment data is included only after checking available interfaces and operating conditions.
Quality and shift handovers
An illustrative workflow records an exception with a photo, an order reference and a responsible owner. The next shift sees open questions and the agreed action. Required fields, permissions and closure rules are defined with your team. Automated data transfer does not replace a qualified decision about product quality.
Instructions employees can find
When documentation is scattered, an internal AI assistant can help find an approved instruction and show its source. For production work, the current version, access permissions and handling of unsupported answers are especially important.
From one process to wider use
A pilot covers a limited task, such as handing over a work order or reporting an exception. We record the starting point and track information search time, record completeness and necessary corrections. We also agree how work continues when connectivity or the system is unavailable. Pilot results determine what is worth extending to other teams.
